Former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has described the National Assembly as a weak institution that aided President Bola Tinubu in instituting an illegal government.
Amaechi stated this while reacting to the suspension of the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara.
Speaking at the 9th Edition of Akinjide Adeosun Foundation (AAF) Annual Leadership Discourse themed: “Fearless Leadership: A Panacea for Sustainable Development,” organised by AAF in Lagos, Amaechi asserted that President Bola Tinubu did not break the law when he declared a state of emergency in Rivers, but broke the constitution.
