President Bola Tinubu has directed Nigeria’s top intelligence and security officials to immediately engage political leaders in Plateau, Benue, and Borno States following a surge in mass killings and bomb attacks that have claimed over 100 lives this month.
After a four-hour security briefing at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu told reporters that the president issued new directives to restore peace in the troubled regions.
