President Bola Tinubu has reportedly held a private meeting with suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, during his ongoing working visit to Europe, according to sources close to the matter.
The meeting, which is said to have been initiated by Fubara, marks the first face-to-face interaction between the two leaders since the federal government declared a state of emergency in Rivers State in March. The Presidency, however, has not officially confirmed the meeting, and attempts to obtain clarification were unsuccessful as officials remained tight-lipped.
