Trump’s Administration Moves to Reduce America’s $36 Trillion Debt, Sells Federal Land

The President Donald Trump administration is considering using proceeds from sold federal land to reduce the nation’s $36 trillion debt. However, the move is receiving stiff opposition from the Democrats at the upper legislative chamber (Senate).


A Republican Senator, Mike Lee, gave a hint about the administration’s move in a post on his official X handle on Saturday. According to him, the “Democrats tried to stop any of that money from being used to reduce our $36 trillion debt, We stopped them”.
