Tuesday’s Public Holiday Is An Opportunity For Nigerians To Reflect On Buhari’s Life – FG

In addition to the 7 days of National mourning declared by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the Federal Government has declared Tuesday, 15 July, 2025, as a public holiday.


The holiday is in honour of the late former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, who recently died in the UK.


Speaking via a press statement, the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval.
