UNICEF, CRIB train journalists on ethical reporting of child’s rights

The perinent need for practisng Journalists to be factual but cautious in their reportage of issues concerning children in the society, to avoid stigmatization and psychological deffects in their lifetime has been emphasised.


It has been established that some of the actions and inactions of minors (Children below the age of 18) are influenced by the adults in the society unknowing.. This informs the reason to protect Children from harmful reports that are likely to traumatise or stigmatize them from the rest of the society in their lifetime, must be abolished henceforth.
