The lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has kicked against the renaming of the Abuja International Conference Centre (ICC) after President Bola Tinubu.
Papers News recalls that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, renamed the Abuja International Conference Centre as the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre on Tuesday.
However, Sani, in a statement on Wednesday, urged Tinubu to reject the honour, stating that such monuments should not be renamed without regard for historical context.
