Security presence across the Federal Capital Territory tightened on Friday, as the Commissioner of Police, CP Miller Dantawaye, led what the Command described as a confidence-building patrol of mosques and recreational centres within the Abuja metropolis.
A statement issued by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, explained that the operation was part of plans to secure the city during the Christmas and New Year festivities.
