Shettima Leads Federal Delegation to Kwara Attack Victims, Vows Peace Restoration

Speaking during a condolence visit yesterday, Shettima announced that President Bola Tinubu has ordered the deployment of an army battalion to the area and directed emergency agencies to provide immediate relief to affected communities.


Shettima, who led the federal delegation to meet with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and community leaders, conveyed President Tinubu’s condolences to families of the victims. He confirmed that the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has been mobilized to work alongside Kwara State’s emergency services in providing support to displaced persons.


While declining to reveal specific military strategies, Shettima emphasized that comprehensive security measures are underway. “Security matters require discretion, and we cannot disclose all operational details. But rest assured, every hand is on deck to restore lasting peace to these communities,” he stated.
